For me, design has always been about more than selecting beautiful things. It’s about knowing what belongs, where it belongs, and how each piece contributes to the way a space feels.
How I See Design
When I walk into a space, I immediately notice the scale, the layout and the feeling of the room. I usually see the potential pretty quickly, and then the ideas stay with me for days as I think through where the space could go. After more than 16 years as an interior designer, I've learned to trust that instinct. I'm also much more confident in being upfront with my clients about what will work, what won't, and what's realistic for their space and budget. Every new project still brings something different—new people, new ideas and new energy.
The final layers are what brings a space to life.
It’s All In The Details
There's so much more to interior design than selecting beautiful things. I'm constantly thinking about how something will function, whether the scale and proportion are right, how a fabric will live and how every selection relates to the room around it. I love color, texture and clean lines, but I also love antiques and pieces with history. Mixing those things together gives a room a collected, personal feeling rather than making it look like everything was purchased at once. And for me, the final styling is critical—those last details can completely make a space.

Behind The Design
A normal day for me is a little bit of everything—emails, phone calls, fabrics, samples, drawings and usually several projects running through my head at once. Having my own private studio in Historic Newburgh is something I'm incredibly proud of. My business has come a long way, and the studio represents a lot of passion, hard work and grit along the way. At the end of it all, I want my clients to feel excited and confident throughout the process, and when the project is finished, nothing is better than seeing them love the space we've created.
